Time Reaction
Time Reaction is a five piece band, playing classic rock with a mix of other genre’s to keep the sets interesting and fun for it’s audiences. The band plays most any type of function, from bars and wineries to music festivals and everything in between. The band is made up of very talented and experienced players. VOCALS: Brooks Jones
Brooks has been singing her entire life and got her start early on singing camp songs around the bonfire. She loves music in a wide variety of genres, including classic rock, blues, soul/R&B and jazz. She picked up the ukulele during the COVID pandemic and has been playing ever since.
When not performing or playing music, Brooks works as a full-time academic tutor, helping kids succeed in and out of the classroom. She is the proud mom of three kids and fronts Time Reaction.
Rhythm Guitar, Vocals: Andy Fabris
Andy’s lived most of his life in the Chicago. In 2023 Andy and his wife moved to Winston Salem to escape the Chicago winters. Andy grew up in a large, music loving family and learned to play guitar at a young age. He is inspired by the classic rockers and blues artists. Over the years, Andy has been lucky to play with many generous, great musicians, and some Chicago legends. Andy is looking forward to meeting many new friends and fellow musicians in North Carolina.
Bass Guitar, harmonica, Vocals: David Mazzola
David has been playing music since the 1960’s, starting out on acoustic guitar and then adding bass, rhythm and lead guitars. David’s first job onstage was playing bass at age 13 and has played multiple genres of music including rock, blues, folk, and rhythm and blues. He’s had the honor of playing with musicians from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and has been on the stages of universities, festivals and many other venues, not to mention doing studio work. David is very excited to play with the talented musicians in Time Reaction and getting out in front of live audiences in North Carolina and beyond.
Drums: Jim Cusack
Jim began taking drum lessons at age 10. He began playing in bands and then reduced his time while attending college and professional school. He picked it up again in the mid-90’s and continues today. He has played in classic rock, Country, Blues, original music and variety bands. He played with the Brangle Brothers Band, a regional act who performed in 4 states. He has played in many local acts and is currently having fun keeping time for Time Reaction Band. Come.
Lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar and Vocals: Tony Sealey
Tony considers himself an “Old school” guitarist that has performed a little over a half of a century. He prefers tubed amps, effects pedals, Fender and PRS guitars. Tony says he “stole all my riffs from Eric Clapton, SRV, and Carlos Santana”! Tony says music and performing is “NOT” a hobby, it is his passion! Tony is married to a wonderful lady (Lisa), and loves his dogs, Theo, Ollie, and Rosie, and his cat Leo! Tony’s saying: “Bury me with guitar!”
